Hybrid Model

Fintech x Social Impact

MyMeal is not purely charity-based. It is a structured digital fund management platform with governance, compliance and revenue sustainability, while MealBank serves underprivileged students through a fair and traceable distribution model.

Closed-loop

Funds stay purpose-bound from allocation to vendor spend.

Verified

Student eligibility and transaction flows are digitally governed.

Sustainable

Revenue streams support infrastructure and compliance continuity.

Direct Sponsorship

Parent or guardian funds go directly into the student's MyMeal wallet for controlled meal spending.

MealBank Pool

Funds are pooled, governed by the payment gateway and allocated monthly via ballot to verified students.

Platform Direction

The platform balances public-good outcomes with a governance model that institutions and sponsors can confidently support at scale.

Why MyMeal Was Created

We created a dedicated, controlled and transparent meal fund system.

During university, many students received enough monthly allowance overall, but meal money was often depleted mid-month due to lifestyle spending, online shopping and short-term habits. At the same time, underprivileged students struggled to secure sponsorship because donors were unsure whether support would really be used for meals.

MyMeal was built to solve both problems with dedicated meal budgets, verified eligibility and a closed-loop spending environment that creates clarity for everyone involved.

Core Proposition

Clean fund control for a real social outcome

MyMeal is built to feel credible to institutions, trustworthy to sponsors, discreet for students and operationally efficient for vendors and campus partners.

The Problem We Solve

Three gaps, one structured platform

The platform addresses budget misuse, sponsorship trust issues and access barriers for underprivileged students without turning aid into a public spectacle.

01

No Dedicated Meal Budget

Students often lack a locked monthly meal allocation. Even when allowance is sufficient, food needs can lose priority once spending shifts elsewhere.

Solution

MyMeal money is strictly usable for meals at registered vendors.

02

Lack Of Trust In Sponsorship

Sponsors hesitate when they cannot see whether their funds are really used for meals or managed under a verifiable flow.

Solution

Transactions are traceable, auditable and linked to verified user profiles and payment records.

03

Limited Access For Underprivileged Students

Some students feel uncomfortable asking for food aid publicly, while universities and sponsors face manual verification and monitoring burdens.

Solution

MyMeal offers discreet digital access, automated verification and a ballot-based MealBank distribution model.

Who We Serve

An ecosystem view, not a single-user product

The starting focus is IPT students, but MyMeal is intentionally designed to align the full support chain around them.

Students

Primary users and beneficiaries.

They also introduce the ecosystem to campus vendors.

Parents & Guardians

Provide controlled, meal-specific allowances.

Direct support remains protected from unrelated spending.

Public & Corporate Sponsors

Channel sponsorship transparently.

Their contributions enter a governed flow instead of an informal donation path.

Universities

Strategic ecosystem partners.

They help strengthen verification, adoption and program credibility.

Fund Flow & Structure

When someone sponsors RM100, where does it go?

1

Direct Sponsorship

Parent or guardian funds go directly into the student's MyMeal wallet for meal-specific use.

2

MealBank Sponsorship

Sponsor funds move into the payment gateway, a 5% administrative fee is applied, and the balance is allocated monthly via ballot.

3

Vendor Claims

Vendors submit digital claims through the MyMeal wallet or payment gateway settlement system, depending on sponsorship type.

Who Holds The Funds?

  • MealBank Funds: Held by the regulated payment gateway.
  • Direct Sponsorship: Allocated to the student's MyMeal wallet.
  • Risk Approach: MyMeal minimizes direct fund holding.

Usage Rules

  • Direct Sponsor: Allocation is immediate after transaction.
  • MealBank: Allocation happens monthly through fair rotation.
  • Cash Access: Non-withdrawable and non-transferable.
  • Usage Scope: Spendable only at registered food vendors.

Why This Matters

Sponsors know where the money sits, when it moves and how it can be used. Students receive access without public stigma. Institutions gain a system they can defend.

Sustainability

How does MyMeal generate revenue?

  1. 1. Yearly vendor registration fee.
  2. 2. Advertisement placement within the app.
  3. 3. Administrative fee on MealBank transactions.

What is the administrative fee for?

It covers FPX and payment processing charges, cloud hosting, eligibility verification, compliance monitoring, technical maintenance, customer support and audit-related security processes.

Trust & Governance

Structured, traceable and built for confidence

Legal Structure

MyMeal operates under a registered Sdn Bhd entity in Malaysia.

Regulatory Direction

The platform plans to pursue SEP eligibility under Securities Commission Malaysia within 3 years.

Traceability

Transactions are digitally recorded, trackable, auditable and linked to verified profiles.

Misuse Prevention

No cash withdrawals, approved vendor restrictions, verified eligibility and governed gateway settlement.

Unlike traditional donation platforms, MyMeal focuses on controlled meal-specific fund flow rather than open-ended emotional fundraising.

Future Vision

Built to become Malaysia's most trusted meal fund platform

The direction is clear: thousands of registered campus vendors, a recognized governance structure and a better national standard for channeling funds that are meant specifically for meals.
